
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Frank Rygiel, Vice President and General Manager of construction firm Walbridge’s Florida Group, is a member of Leadership Florida’s 35th Class. This year’s program, which began in September, provides 56 executives from around the state with class-room and field studies aimed at enhancing and recharging their leadership skills.
Created in 1982 by the Florida Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Florida is the only organization that takes a statewide view of the conditions and challenges facing the state. The program is designed to promote statewide leadership.
Rygiel leads Walbridge’s Florida Group, which delivers construction services to public and private organizations in the state from its base in Tampa. Walbridge, headquartered in Detroit, is a top-50 U.S. contractor serving a broad range of markets including automotive, aviation, commercial, education, industrial manufacturing, mission critical, power and energy, and water/waste water.
Prior to joining Walbridge, Rygiel worked for 8 years for Batson-Cook Construction and served most recently as Project Executive/Vice President of Business Development. In total, he has 20 years of experience in the construction industry. Rygiel earned a degree in Construction Management from East Carolina University.
