The “Best in Class” is the highest designation by the GLWBC for its Excellence in Supplier Diversity Award and indicates a corporation has excelled in all categories surveyed including: Women Business Enterprises (WBE) spend, WBE capacity building, corporate integration of supplier diversity and advocacy of women-owned businesses.

This is the first year Walbridge received the “Best in Class” designation after being named “Emerging” in 2014 and “Advanced” in 2015 and 2016.

“We work very hard to support Women Business Enterprises and it is an honor to be recognized,” Jackie Jackson, Walbridge’s Director of Supplier Diversity, said.

Awards to Walbridge and other companies will be presented at the 17th Annual Great Lakes Women’s Business Conference Awards Luncheon on Sept. 27 at Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Mich.
