Observation to Man Hour Ratios

Our observations to overall man hours ratio for 2018 was 1:349.

Meeting our benchmark of 1:500 every month for 2018 – Great Effort!

The monthly percentage of projects that met the goal of 1:500 for December was 85 percent – our best percentage for the year – but we can do better.

We feel this process is critical to our success and staying discipline to it will make us a safer company.

Remember, attending contractor huddles and performing DTA audits count as an observation.

2019 Mentoring Program Kicks Off

Dr. Jennifer Wenson, a professor specializing in organizational leadership who trains in a variety of industries, led discussions during the initial 2019 Mentoring Program meeting. She discussed important questions mentors and mentees cans ask one another, how to develop better professional relationships and ways to achieve growth in the program.

This ongoing program is an opportunity for employees new to Walbridge to get to know those established within the company. With 26 mentors and 26 mentees in 2019, it provides a chance to learn more about the company, while growing professionally as well.
